From the naxal-affected region of Bastar in Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced a new campaign slogan. Speaking at a campaign rally, PM Modi criticized the Congress for neglecting the challenges faced by the impoverished. He expressed gratitude to the people of Bastar for their support to the NDA government over the past decade. PM Modi highlighted the government’s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring free ration and vaccines for the populace. He remarked that while the Congress believed it had a license to exploit the nation post-independence, his administration, since 2014, has revoked that license.

PM Modi emphasized that India experienced a stable and robust BJP government after many decades, with the welfare of the poor being the foremost priority of the NDA administration. He criticized Congress governments for neglecting the needs of the poor for decades post-independence. Modi asserted that Congress leaders never empathized with the poor or comprehended their challenges. Additionally, he remarked that affluent members of the Congress party failed to grasp the significance of inflation.

The senior BJP leader introduced a new election slogan for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Modi stated, “The poor people of the country are saying today – ‘Reduce expenses, increase savings repeatedly, once again Modi government.” He expressed his determination to address all the concerns of the poor, emphasizing that his government continuously introduced schemes and ensured the rights of the underprivileged. Modi highlighted the outcome of these initiatives, citing that over 25 crore individuals have been lifted out of poverty in the country.
