Actors Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil have been included in the latest candidate roster of the BJP for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Arun Govil, renowned for portraying the role of Lord Shri Ram in the beloved TV series Ramayan, has been nominated for the Meerut Lok Sabha seat. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, the acclaimed Bollywood actress, will be vying for the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, her hometown.
Expressing gratitude towards the BJP, the 37-year-old actress, known for her vocal support of the party, conveyed her appreciation for being nominated as the Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi. Presently, the constituency is represented by Congress leader Pratibha Singh.
In a statement shared on X, Kangana Ranaut expressed her unwavering allegiance to the BJP, emphasizing her unconditional support to the party. She affirmed her commitment to the high command’s decision regarding her participation in the Lok Sabha polls.
